Architectural 150 kV station
This 150 kV station of NUON provides the power for the future offices in the Watergraafsmeer (local area in Amsterdam – Netherlands). Sorba Projects has equipped the station with an architectural skin of Corten steel.
Magnificent corroding façades with Corten steel
Corten steel, a material which produces a corroding protective layer when it is in contact with the atmosphere. The material is suitable for the construction of magnificent façades, if handled in a proper manner.
